Why is this proposal on the ballot?
The 2024 Charter Revision Commission reviewed the New York City Charter to ensure its efficiency and responsiveness to all New Yorkers, held public hearings and conducted outreach to solicit public input, and offered the following suggested changes.

Esta propuesta modificaría los Estatutos de la Ciudad para establecer al jefe de diversidad empresarial (CBDO), autorizar al alcalde a designar la oficina que emite los permisos de rodaje, y combinar las juntas de archivos.
Votar "Sí" establecería al CBDO para que apoye a las MWBES, autorizar a que el alcalde designe la agencia que emite los permisos de rodaje, y combine dos juntas. Votar "No" deja las leyes sin cambios.
What this proposal means:
The proposal would create a new role to support MWBEs, allow the Mayor to designate which agency issues film permits, and merge two boards that manage city records into one.
